Several individuals were wounded while inhabitants in the city's east were experienced blackouts and dealt with interruptions to water supplies, as stated by local authorities.

Russian forces has increased attacks on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while Ukrainian leadership has called for "substantial measures" from allies to exert influence on Moscow.

He said that 450 drones and several dozen projectiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, describing such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.

The energy minister said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and technical staff were striving to restore power.

A series of attacks hit electrical systems and apartment buildings in the capital.

Government officials told the media that Moscow was intentionally trying to destroy the electrical infrastructure, with assaults already impacting fuel infrastructure.

Officials stated technical personnel and authorities were preparing for further attacks.
